Call for CCM Volunteers!

2012 is our year to host CCM and that means we need LOTS of volunteers. Especially in this tough economy and with not being at full membership, every dollar we can get in revenue from CCM counts. We sent out a few emails so far this year soliciting volunteers and have received no responses. This is not a typical swim meet and is the responsibility of the entire club, not just swim team families. We need everyone's participation to ensure a successful and fun event.

Immediate positions to be filled are: 2 Co-Chairs to oversee departments and who are ultimately the 'go-to' people for questions. We are particularly looking for individuals who are well-organized, detail-oriented and are comfortable delegating tasks (and following up to ensure they were completed). Responsibilities will be divvied up between the two and the two will work directly with the Board of Directors. While there is a fair amount of work that goes into planning CCM, if these two individuals work together, share the responsibilities fairly and delegate, neither should come out of the experience feeling overwhelmed or frustrated. To fill these positions, we would like to extend a reduction on Annual Dues for 2012 by 50% to the 2 qualifying individuals. The Board will meet with candidates in December and the 2 Co-Chairs identified and communicated in January 2012.
