Virginia Graeme Baker Pool Safety Act

We are in compliance with the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act, a federal law designed to keep children from being injured by the suction of pool drains. As the article notes the fix was expensive. We worked on several options to comply but we ended up having to drain the pool, cut into the pool bottom and install a new drain system. We had a professional engineer verify that we are in compliance and our insurance company has been notified. The baby pool is also compliant with the Act.
